RG5B – XD : Manual Grinding Machine for PCD and PcBN The RG5B - XD's unique strength, machine design and the use of precision Coborn spindles, enables PCD to be ground at high production rates, to high tolerances and with maximum edge perfection. Whilst the machine has manual in-feed and pivot motion, each wheel position, stroke amplitude, reciprocation speed, wheel speed and wheel direction can be saved as a program block to the in-built computer for later re-call. Further program blocks turn off the coolant and turn on the light for inspection. A previous program can be re-called from memory, modified as required and the blocks executed.
