Cutting triangles is straight forward.
Cutting was done at 90mm/min on this 1.6mm
thick PCD. Note how the pieces stay interlocked
together and that the cut can start in the
middle of the disc. |

The
LD2 can be used to cut deep profiles in
solid carbide plates for woodworking tools.
Cutting speed on this 3.0mm thick carbide
plate was 50mm/min. |

3 - Cutting blank PCD blanks with internal holes
Producing internal holes within PCD blanks in just as easy as cutting the external shape. The smallest hole achieved is 200um. |
