The PB1 is a battery powered, hand held device designed, primarily, for re-balancing skive plates after they have been re-machined.

The PB1 allows plates to be dynamically balanced whilst on the machine.

An out-of-balance plate, causes the bench to vibrate. These vibrations are detected by the accelerometer magnetically attached to the bench surface.

The hand held unit has a inbuilt strobe light which indicates the out of balance position.  If a balance correcting cap is fitted, small screws can be added as weights to correct the balance.
